Abstract

The new water soluble polymeric drug form of local anesthetic novocaine on the based synthetic polymer polyvinyl alcohol has been developed. By means equilibrium dialysis method the interaction of novocaine with polyvinyl alcohol was studied. The dynamic of drug release into physiological solution was investigated. It was concluded the possibility of the polymer application for prolongation action of novocaine.
