Abstract

Ssodium ethane-1,2-diyldicarbamodithioate was obtained by the dithiocarbonylation reaction of ethane-1,2-diamine. Then dialkyl ethane-1,2-diyldicarbamodithioates were synthesized by dialkylation of sodium ethane-1,2-diyldicarbamodithioate with 1-bromine(C7, C8, C9, C10 and C12)alkanes in the good and high yields (63-84%). The structure of the reaction products are confirmed by IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectra data.
