Abstract

Selective monoalkylation and one-pot monoalkylation-dithiocarbonylation reactions of ethylenediamine were carried out in good and high yields (60-78%). The structures of the obtaining products – N-alkylethane-1,2-diamines and sodium 2-(alkylamino)ethyl dithiocarbamates were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and 13C spectra.
