Abstract

In this work the possibility of binding antituberculosis drug p-aminosalicylic acid with the nanoparticles of serum albumin with the aim of increasing the therapeutic efficacy of the drug is studied. The results of the investigation of physicochemical characteristics of nanoparticles loaded with the drug obtained by adsorption and incorporation methods are shown. Drug release kinetics of p-aminosalicylic acid from polymeric matrix of albumin is studied. Optimal physicochemical characteristics of albumin nanoparticles loaded with the drug and high meanings of binding degree points on perspective of the use of nanosomal forms of antituberculosis drug “p-amino salicylic acid”.
